The Inventor
The Chi Machine is also known as the Sun Ancon®Ï Oxygen Exerciser. It is the brilliant culmination of 38 years of research, hard work, and the insight of Japanese medical doctor Shizuo Inoue, Chairman of Oxygen Association of Japan. This passive aerobic exerciser moves the body at approximately 140/minute which is approximately double the average heart rate (72) and a multiple of the cerebro spinal fluid pump at a factor of 12. The relaxed wave like motion (goldfish) allows for entrainment of blood pressure, heart rate and spinal alignment. Stimulation of the spine (autonomic nervous system) allows for a surplus amount of oxygen to be released into the circulatory system where is it utilized at the cellular level. Positioning of the body with legs slightly lifted and ankles in the cups of the machine, results in no stress on the spine, knees, neck or heart. Other exercise may induce a lack of oxygen resulting in more stress in the body. A wonderful addition to those limited in exercise options.
