Mission Statement

DEBRA PHINNEY-ARMSTRONG

For the past 15 years, Debra has been on a mission to research methodologies to support her quest for a higher level of wellness for herself, her family, and others. Through this journey of exploration she came to be involved with HTE (Hsin Ten Enterprise) and their line of certified medical devices. For the past eight years, Debra has been involved in the promotion, educating and selling of their product line in Canada and overseas markets.

Having a background in marketing with both public and private sectors spanning 25 years, she has acquired a wealth of knowledge to support her vision of assisting medical and alternative practitioners with the challenges of patient care and determining, through employee assistance programs (EAP), a strategy to meet workplace wellness issues of various corporate entities, including government agencies.

Debra is now embracing the challenging arena of autism.  Her focus on neuroplasticity and the recent discovery of lymphatic vessels in the brain (see our Flinders university study) has led to data collection with the purpose of securing a pilot study using the sun ancon chi machine.   Excitement is building!

Since 2004 I have had the greatest privilege in using the chi machine.  It continuously improves my mental and physical well-being.  Toning of the body has been a great side effect!  Love to use during the winter months when it is hard to get outside to walk.  The ceramic heater (hothouse) has been a wonderful therapeutic in my pain management.  The benefits of this device are too many to count.

Sun Ancon Chi Machine and Far Infrared Ceramic Heater (HotHouse) – Sore Muscles and Oedema

When I first met Debra and started to learn about the sun ancon chi and hothouse I was totally intrigued.  I had to try these devices at home.  Debra guided me through the initial days and weeks using the chi with genuine care and knowledge.  Ten years has passed.  The chi and hothouse are a part of my everyday routine.  I am now into my sixties and like many of you, i am still in the workforce and going strong!  I thoroughly enjoy my evening time on my chi and dome, just before bedtime.  It lulls my body and mind into relaxation.  Regular use of the chi promotes the draining of water in my legs and feet.  It relaxes tense muscles in my back and neck.  The soothing warmth of the hothouse encourages healthy bowel movements.  It has been preventative and restorative on so many levels.

Chi Machine –  Autism

My son M. diagnosed with autism, started using the sun ancon chi machine mid July 2017.  Since then we have seen a great improvement with his focus, attention and eye contact.  He is playing and socializing more with his younger sister.  The frequency and intensity of his tantrums have started to diminish.  Debra does an amazing job following up to make sure M. Is on the right path to recovery.  We are truly grateful for her help.

Chi Machine –  Autism

My son P. had been diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) at the age of 3.  Since then he has undergone a lot of behavioral intervention programs administered by OCTC and CHEO.  Even with all the trainings from the instructional therapists from different organizations, he still wet his bed at night.  Another concern was that he loves food!  With his condition he is having a hard time holding back on eating too fast.  This resulted in him being gassy and uneasy after eating.

It was March of this year when he was introduced to the sun ancon chi machine after visiting the exhibit at autism in motion in Montreal, Quebec.  He immediately felt relief in gas pain after trying for two minutes.  He volunteered to use the device for several months to see if it would eliminate his problems of bed wetting, indigestion or even reduce the flapping of his hands.

After months of using the device, he does not complain about indigestion anymore and he is constantly dry at night (we finally said good bye to diapers!)  He turned 13 this year and his body is physically changing so fast.  By using the chi machine religiously twice a day he has benefitted in terms of decision making and more focus on the tasks assigned to him in school.  He has more tolerance in schedule changes and tries to help out more and more with chores at home and in school.  We are very happy with his progress.

SOQI BED – Arthritis

Approximately one year ago, we met with Debra Phinney-Armstrong to discuss our health concerns and whether a SOQI Bed system could assist us in alleviating the chronic arthritic pain we both endured.  Through initial consultation and her individual follow-up protocol, we were able to get the most out of using the SOQI system and saw immediate results.  Debra was able to identify areas for improvement and provided clear and concise instructions on the use of the system.  We are very happy to report that we have been pain free for almost a year now thanks to the SOQI system we purchased and Debra’s expert advice on how best to use on a daily basis.
